In this class students will earn their multiplication facts from 1-10. We will cover all of the facts between numbers 1-10. We will start class by starting with a problem posed by one of the Avengers. i.e. Hulk knows he can lift 2 stacks of cars that each have 3 cars in each stack. How many cars can Hulk lift? (2 x 3). Then we would explain why he can lift 6 cars: there are 2 stacks of 3 cars. Then we would use powerpoint to examine the question and practice number 2 multiplication facts....
Students will improve their understanding of multiplication with numbers 1 through 10.
I have taught first and second grade and taught multiplication numerous times.
