When people here ADHD often the first thought that comes to mind is someone who can’t focus or pay attention. In reality the relationship between attention and ADHD is far more complex than many people understand. In this class students will learn more about how their brains work to help them understand that the uniqueness of their brain, which no doubt causes some challenges, has some major positives as well. We will discuss tools to help manage their challenges as well as strategies to help...

I hold a 4 year bachelors degree with honours in psychology during which I have completed many courses which relate to ADHD such as; Neuropsychology, Biology of the brain, Child Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, among many others. I also have ADHD myself which has given me lived experience of the challenges that it is associated with. I have done ample amounts of research to better understand ADHD in general and in myself. I am constantly exploring resources for ADHD and seeking out new information.
