This is a one-time class that teaches kiddos about telling time. It is just under an hour. We go over the parts of a clock, telling time to the hour, telling time to the half-hour, telling time to five minutes, and elapsed time. I begin with a slide presentation about the parts of a clock and give a brief lecture on how the hands work and how to tell time. Then, I work through the resource packet with the students (they follow along as I discuss and work through each page). I read a book about time and types of clocks. We close by drawing a funny alarm clock.
