수업 소개
In this weekly book club, students will talk about an assigned young adult mystery book. Each week (unless otherwise stated), students will be assigned a young adult mystery book to read. The book will need to be read before the date of the class it is assigned to. We will begin the classes with everyone telling whether they liked or did not like the book. Each person will have the opportunity to explain their answer. I will ask questions about the elements of the book which may include the characters, plot, setting and theme. Student responses will guide our discussion. I encourage students to completely read the book before they join a class so they will not hear any spoilers. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! *The books need to be read BEFORE the class date they are assigned to. 2024: Week of June 3-7: The Lovely and the Lost by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Week of June 10-14: It Started with Goodbye by Christina June Week of June 17-21: A Mark in the Road by Angelique Burrell Week of June 24-28: Hotel Magnifique by Emily J. I believe that it is important for students to express their ideas, so each student will have the opportunity to contribute to discussions in my classes.
