Fossils are preserved remains, impressions, or, even traces of once-living organisms (animals or plants) from the past. Children will meet each other through an 'icebreaker' question and a quick 'Guess-in-Ten' game. Then, through slides, video clips, and discussion, students will learn what fossils are and what paleontologists learn from them. A fossil is how we know that dinosaurs were once here.
