These are one-on-one English tutoring sessions. In this ongoing course, students will choose and purchase a book from the Scholastic Press Start: Super Rabbit Boy Series. The student will practice reading and speaking about the book during class. The learner will gain skills in speaking, reading, grammar, and pronunciation. Lessons will be chosen according to the student's individual level of English proficiency. These classes are appropriate for native English speakers and ESL students. During the first class, the teacher will assess the student's ability in both reading and speaking. The teacher will provide written feedback after each class. In compliance with copyright laws, both the student and the teacher must have their own copies of the books that will be read during class.

1. The student will be able to read a book in English.2. The student will be able to demonstrate comprehension about the book by answering questions about the story.

I welcome students of all abilities to participate in this conversation class. If your learner has unique learning needs, I am happy to use a slower speaking speed, pictures and concrete objects for support, and other needed tools.

The student must have a copy of each book that is used in class.
