In this one time class, we will meet and discuss strategies that students can employ to manage and minimize their stress levels as they go back to school. Topics include time management, planning and organization, mindfulness and relaxation, and positive coping strategies. As we work through each technique, students will be given examples and even some actual templates (organizational sheets, online planners, etc) that they can use. This one time class will mostly be a discussion led by me, but students will also have a slides presentation that they can follow or refer back to.

During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I developed many healthy strategies for managing stress. Now in my career through practice and research, I have fine tuned and added to these strategies.
