Sylvester and the Magic Pebble is one of my ALL TIME Favorite Stories! Is it one of yours too? Join me as we read and talk about the story... and then, you'll have an opportunity to write a Magic Pebble Story of your very own! Who will your main character be? Where will he or she find their Magic Pebble? What special magic will the Pebble have? I can't wait to help you play with your creativity in writing an AMAZING story! Students will listen to a story and identify key elements. Students will brainstorm creative writing ideas. Students will write a story based on their outline. Students will practice spontaneous storytelling skills in their writing. Students will practice sharing and speaking with confidence. Students will listen to the ideas and stories of others and provide encouragement (and smiles!)
