수업 소개
As a former member of a Marine Corps Sniper Team, I have spent many months in forests, deserts, and unpredictable environments. The military survival instruction I received was critical to my success and I want to share that knowledge with you! Many students in my Survive with A Marine classes, have requested more scenario and problem solving exercises. This class was created to meet that need. All are welcome to tackle the escape room. No prior knowledge is needed. This self-paced escape room themed lesson is geared towards 8-13 year old students (though the content is appropriate for students of all ages). All students are welcome to give it a try! This is a fun self-paced one-time class that will test your survival instincts using an escape room format. In this story, you are a new Marine dropped into a desert situation. You will be presented multiple options-- through popups, pictures, and word choices that will allow you to choose your next move. Each choice will lead you on a different path. As you work your way through the escape room theme for the desert survival lesson, you will learn new skills and reinforce ones you may already have.

Desert Island
This video/storybook interactive lesson will provide a desert scenario with multiple choice answers to possible outcomes. As the learner makes choices, a different story develops. 그 외 세부 사항
학부모 가이드
This scenario class will deal with potentially scary topics such as survival scenarios, disasters, and being lost. However, graphic or gory images, over-the-top illustrations, and/or detailed specifics will not be part of the curriculum.
Parents should be aware we will discuss topics related to survival and that I will present all of these topics in as positive a manner as possible and in the spirit of survival...and overcoming obstacles.

I am a proud, former member of a United States Marine Corps Sniper Team, Second Battalion, Third Marine Division, stationed out of KMCAS, Hawaii. I received extensive training in the military. I attended training such as: jungle survival, cold weather, desert survival and as a combat medic and EMT for that team. I served during the Gulf Wars and have extensive experience in the areas I teach. After my time with the Marines, I entered civilian Law Enforcement in Jacksonville Florida. Today, I share the knowledge I was given with others.
