Is your learner excited to explore the marine organisms that impact surfers the most and discover how they are both influenced by ocean pollution? Join me on this 3-day journey to learn about the science behind some of the ocean's most 'tubular' qualities in this interactive summer science camp detailing the importance of the ocean and how these qualities impact a surfer's perspective. 

Topics Covered:
Day 1: Waves, tides, and currents 
Day 2: Effects of different weather events and climate change
Day 3: Types of ocean pollution and it’s effects on different marine life

Students will learn about these topics through engaging activities, short videos, and active discussions, along with a foundation of information on slides that I provide. No prior knowledge is required; just an excitement for the ocean and learning some of its fascinating qualities in the eyes of a surfer!
