수업 소개
*This class requires both the console (Switch) and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as Nintendo Online. It is also highly recommended that internet connection is wired in order to reduce latency and lag.* Welcome to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament! In this on-going class, we shall meet once a week to compete in a 1v1 double elimination style bracket tournament. This essentially means that all players will initially compete in the winners bracket and the losing player will drop to the losers bracket - giving the losing player a second chance for redemption. However, if a player in the losers bracket loses once again, they are eliminated from the tournament. *Please note that the double elimination bracket is only when there are 8 learners or LESS - if there are more learners, the bracket will change to a single elimination style in order to compensate for time.* Once a player is eliminated from the tournament, they will play friendly 1v1 games with another player that is also eliminated or they can spectate other matches. This is to ensure that everyone is occupied in playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in one way or another. Furthermore, it is important to note that due to time restraints, the games will only be 'best of 1' - meaning that the result is determined after one game only. In addition, please note that this class is for all players across the world. I understand that there could be latency issues if NA player plays against an EU player but we can only make due with what we can - the best way around this is to make sure your Switch is connected to the internet through a LAN cable (wired). Lastly, if there are an odd number of players that enroll, I will personally join in order to make the numbers even - although I would not play if the numbers are already evened out. Player Level: This class is for all players of all skill levels. If you are a beginner at SSBU, you may struggle against the more experienced players, however, do not lose confidence from this. Look at it as an opportunity to learn from experienced players. This also means that this class serves as a way for players to improve together. Not only will they receive advice from me, but they will also receive it from others learners too. After enrolling: Thank you for enrolling! Once you have enrolled, you will have access to the classroom where you will see my post about what you need to include in the comments. In the comment section of my post, you will need to type and tell everyone which character you main and what is your current level: beginner, novice, intermediate or advanced. Class structure: Prior to the class, learners will be put into the winners side of the bracket. Thereafter, once learners join the class, they will be presented with the bracket and informed as to who they will be playing. Learners will then be sent into a breakout room(s) where they will create a private arena and both players will play a best of 1 game. Once the match is completed, learners will leave the breakout room and return to the main session. They will update me with the result and I will then update the bracket. Learners will then play the next round or play in the losers bracket if they lost their game. Please note that there might be a short wait time in between games as not every game finishes at the exact same time. Learners can either play in training or spectate other games if possible. Prizes: 1st place: Full refund Runners Up: 50% refund 3rd place: 25% refund **Please note that this prize system will only be implemented after a minimum of 8 learners have joined the class** 1st place: 50% refund 2nd place: 25% refund **Please note that this prize system will only be implemented after a minimum of 4 learners have joined the class** Rules: - Players must be on time; failure to do so will result in late comers not being able to join the class. 5 minutes of late allowance is accepted.
