슈퍼 사이언스 캠프: 놀라운 동물 적응

In this science camp that meets daily over one week, young learners will be introduced to the concept of adaptation.  We will discuss some awesome animals each day, comparing different features and discovering how adaptation helps animals survive.  Young animal lovers are encouraged to share what they know about animals and to contribute to our camp often.  This camp will be a fun introduction to biology and learners will be encouraged to participate, brainstorm, and ask a lot of questions!  I am aware that everyone learns in different ways, so I will never demand participation - those who would prefer to remain quiet are welcome and I will include everyone in a way that best suits their learning style.

Each day we will discuss different groups of animals.   I encoourage learners to draw as we learn, and some days will include an optional hands-on activity.  Supply lists will be provided at least 24 hours before our first meeting. The schedule will be as follows (though it may adjust depending on what learners are most interested in - I am happy to adapt to better match individual interests).
