Get ready to get creative this summer! In this 10-week summer club, we will work with a new prompt (story starter) each week, and you will write a short story based on that prompt! Feel free to draw a picture to go along with your story too! With each prompt, we will also review and focus on a different writing-related concept each week, such as dialogue, plot, point of view, and characterization. -Have writing and drawing paper ready (or feel free to use Word, Google docs, or another word processing program if you would prefer to type your story). -Bring drawing and coloring tools too! This could include pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, and/or paints!
