Welcome to my Summer Bridge Program designed specifically for students who will be entering 7th grade! This program has been created to help students review and reinforce essential academic skills, ensuring they are prepared for the upcoming school year. During the month of July, students will engage in a fun, interactive, and engaging learning experience, helping them build their academic confidence while having a blast. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective, setting students up for success both academically and in their personal lives. I can't wait to get started!

I love to make classes engaging with strategies, games, competitions, and more to check for understanding. Students will participate in discussions and work on problems both together and independently. 

1st Class
English: Interpret figurative language, including similes and metaphors, in context.
Math: Students will solve problems using ratios and proportions.

2nd Class
English: Understanding context clues. Students should be able to use context clues, such as word meaning and word associations, to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words.
Math:  Students will apply properties of geometric figures, including angles and lines.

3rd Class
English: Multiple meanings: Students will work with words with multiple meanings and determine the correct meaning based on context.
Math: Students will work with adding and subtracting integers.
