This ongoing class will be fun for the learners but also involves thought-provoking questions, brain teasers, jokes, riddles, and “would you rather” questions.   The jokes, riddles and “would you rather” questions are fun but also enhance thinking skills and making choices.  Each week the class will begin with stuffy sharing.  I use stuffies in some of my classes because they represent comfort, security, calming, and love.  Stuffies are often a child’s first friend and usually given by a loved one.  Learners will share and introduce a favorite stuffy, tell us how the got the stuffy if they know, and what they live about their stuffy.  After stuffy share the class will involve age appropriate discussion questions and the other fun activities depending on the week.  This class requires no previous experience or knowledge and is highly interactive.  This class, using sharing, discussion questions, jokes and riddles offers a fun-filled way for learners to:
     Enhance critical-thinking skills
     Exercise memory skills
     Use their ability to reason
     Expand vocabulary, language and speech
     Practice problem-solving skills
     Expand curiosity and creativity
     Develop a sense of humor
     

Week One, May 19, 2021: Stuffy share, topic-kid’s discussion questions (“what makes you laugh”?) and riddles
Week Two, May 26, 2021: Stuffy share, topic-kid’s discussion questions, (“if you could be an animal what would you be, why”?) and jokes
Week Three, May 27, 2021: Stuffy share, topic-kid’s discussion questions, (“if you could have a superpower what would it be”?) and brain teasers
Week Four, June 2, 2021: Stuffy share, topic-kid’s discussion questions, (“if you could have three wishes what would you choose”?) and “would you rather” questions

     What is your favorite song, would you like to sing a little of it?
     If you could do anything you want tomorrow what would you do?
     What is your favorite color?
     What makes you happy?
     What is something you are good at?
     What do you want to be when you grow up?

     What is something you are grateful for?
