Study Hall with Mrs. Moffett will give her students a chance to ask questions about concepts taught during class or receive clarification on homework. Maybe the parent is unsure of how to assist their learner with assignments. That’s okay, have your learner come in and out as needed to obtain the help they need. Parents having your learner drop in study hall may provide you with additional time to work with other at home learners.

In this class, students can drop in and out as needed. Mrs. Moffett and the learner will work together to make sure class concepts and homework assignments are understood. This is a place to review, clarify, or provide the learner with encouragement.

In this class there is no weekly concepts to be learned because this class is geared toward the learner needs. That is, this is a student-directed class. Students will come to class with questions and assignments they need assistance with. The teacher and student will work on assignments together.

** In order to participate in the Study Hall class learners must be currently enrolled in one of Mrs. Moffett IEW writing classes. ** 

Extremely important, the teacher will wait 15 minutes for students to show up. If no one shows up after 15 minutes the class will be canceled. If the learner is going to be late, PLEASE let the teacher know.
