This information session will help your learner prepare and plan for their study abroad discussing travel tips, maximizing their experience, cultural adjustment, communication issues, health and safety, academics and more! 🎎 This self-pace information session is at the student’s independent pace, own time, and convenience. Students will follow along as if it was a set of on-going live classes. Students may watch the pre-recorded videos containing Teacher Lynn, complete the optional in-class assignments any time during the course! There are no live zoom classes. I love to travel, learn languages, and discover cultures. I have lived in the USA, Panama, South Korea, India, and Japan. I am passionate about introducing different countries and cultures through teaching foreign languages (ESL English, Spanish, Japanese and Korean). My ultimate goal is to prepare my students to broaden their views of other countries and go on a study abroad (like I did!)
I went on two study abroad experiences in South Korea and Japan.
I was an exchange student in Daegu, South Korea during my Bachelor's degree studying international business and Korean. I completed my Master's degree in Oita, Japan studying Business and Japanese.
