Do you love Studio Ghibli and art? Do you want to sharpen your drawing skills? Want to learn some sketching fundamentals through your favorite Studio Ghibli characters? Then this class is for you! This class is intended for the Studio Ghibli buff as students will be drawing different characters from multiple films! In this art class, students investigate basic drawing techniques through drawing the "Studio Ghibli Style". Some of the characters that students draw come from films such as...
✅ Utilizing basic shapes to create a more complex form. ✅ How to map out a characters face with proper proportions. ✅ Practice and application of different facial expressions. ✅ Introductory process of how to incorporate props. ✅ Light discussion and application of some of the twelve principles of animation. ✅ The confidence to continue drawing the anime face on their own after the class has been completed.
Mrs. Vallarta has been focusing on anime/art on Outschool since February 2018. As a personal avid anime enthusiast, she is familiar with many series, genres, characters and can teach how to execute any aspect of this. Mrs. Vallarta has her Bachelors in Fine Arts and has taught art for 18+ years. Five of those years has been online. Mrs. Vallarta offers over 50 different types of courses that include but not limited to; general anime, anatomy, art, drawing, watercoloring and more.
