수업 소개
In this class you will learn to manage the stress you may experiencing while you are taking classes online. You will learn tools to help you manage your time and feel more in control of your to do list and you will also learn to offer yourself some powerful self-care and recognize when you need it most. Our class will meet live once a week for 4 week and in between classes you will have exercises to help you make small changes in your daily life to help you relieve stress, get adequate rest, add a bit more joy into your life, and prioritize your to-do list. In class you will participate in group discussion and find a supportive group of friends where you will realize you are not alone! All that is required for this class is a willingness to be present and openness to learning in a supportive environment.
학습 목표
In each session you will learn the following:
Week 1 - Introduction to Mindfulness: What is mindfulness? How is it practiced? How can it benefit me?
Mindfulness of Breath - learning how to use the breath as a way to be present and practice mindfulness
Week 2 - Mindfulness of Body - Learning how to use a body scan
Week 3 - Mindfulness of Thoughts - Learning ways to build awareness of our thoughts so that we may be more responsive rather than reactive to thoughts.
Week 4 - Mindfulness of emotions - Similar to building awareness of thoughts we learn practices that help up build self-awareness around our emotions so that our responses to our emotional states can be more supportive.
