Intermediate - Advanced 레벨
In this learner-directed class, we will meet each week to play and learn about chess together. This class listing is specifically designed to keep group sizes small and allow for direct coaching during games. Each class will begin with a mini-lesson on a fundamental chess skill, opening, or strategy based on play patterns observed during games played by the learners in that class. I've been playing chess for 20 years and teaching online for three. I have taught over 1000 students to play chess online. I believe chess is a tool for life and I focus on using chess to develop natural life and social skills for neurodiverse groups of learners in a natural, supportive, fun, and interest-based setting. Although these classes are ability-based, that is to ease match-making and reduce frustration for learners rather than due to a strict focus on skills progression.
