Five exciting stories, five memorable characters on adventures in nature: Children will reap the benefits of the read-aloud experience, be inspired to discover new books on their own, and engage with classmates and critical-thinking activities in this live, relaxed, story time class.  After experiencing the story, students will engage in lively discussion regarding their impressions of the story.  They will have the opportunity to practice their 'public speaking' as they relate the story to their own experiences as well as other stories they have read or heard. Using our packet, students will continue to engage with the story and other subjects through age-appropriate activities and games! We will discuss at least one literary device and how it is presented in the book.  Finally, students will have the opportunity to do a simple drawing activity as it pertains to an element of the story.
