After the first class, you will be encouraged to work on shooting your photos for your video. This will make it easier to edit on day two. On the second after the second class, you will be encouraged to continue editing your video outside of class. Please come with any questions that you have. Students will need a charged device; some stand to hold their device still not to shake. Students will need some materials they would like to use in their videos, such as animals, building blocks, miniature people, etc. Blue and/or green paper (construction paper) or fabric (shirt/etc.). Important Information: This class is much easier for students when using a second device. The easiest device is an iPad or iPhone. However, if your child is taking the class with a computer and is trying to use the Stop Motion on that same device, they will need another camera.

Students will be required to have a stop motion studio pro app to complete this class. The pro version has all the necessary tools to complete the activities. Please make sure the app is downloaded prior to class. The best way to take the class is to have zoom available on one device and a second device to take photos and edit your video. The easiest tools are iPhones or iPad. Per the Stop Motion Studio App, "Your privacy is important. That's why we do not collect, use, disclose, transfer or store any data. All data is stored locally on the device. No data is transferred from the app without user consent (video upload). Our apps do not track the user and do not display advertisements." Students will need to have the Stop Motion Animation Studio Pro version of the app. The app can be found listed in the class resources. This app does cost extra.
