*Note: Students must have a Codey Rocky robot to take this class, see the Supply List for details******

In this Level 5 course, students will continue to learn the principles of programming and robotics through the use of Scratch and our Codey Rocky. Codey Rocky uses a visual blocked-based programming language making it easy for students to create complex sequences by just dragging and dropping.

At the end of the course, kids will continue to develop fundamental concepts of programming while having fun and playing games.

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Session 1:   Loudness monitor
Students will further strengthen their understanding of loudness levels with loudness block.

Session 2: Variables 
Students will continue to test variables and how they can keep track of actions.  Students will complete a guided practice followed by independent practice. 

Session 3: Variables - Part 2
Students will test their knowledge of Variables in combination with Functions. 

Session 4: Variables, Operators and Functions Combo
We will put to the test the principles learned in Level 4 by doing some interesting challenges involving sensors, functions and variables 

Session 5: Challenge Day!
Students will test their knowledge by completing a fun and interactive challenge activity with the class followed by an independent game practice.
