The purpose of this class is to expose young learners to the basic principles of science and engineering while allowing creativity to flourish in an interesting and interactive manner.

I have over 21 years teaching  all core subjects  in an  elementary classroom; thirteen  of those were years were spent  teaching  upper elementary children in a brick and mortar school.  I have a bachelor's degree with a major in language arts and a minor in  general science.  I created my own art curriculum which I used to teach a summer art camp for 4 years.  I have 5 years experience as a private math tutor for ages 8-13.  I created & taught a  STEAM based summer enrichment program that was specifically  designed for upper elementary children that was used in a daycare for 5 years which was packed with fun science experiments,  art projects that highlighted famous artists ,and seasonal engineering activities.
