In this STEAM challenge class we will focus on a new challenge each week to develop your learner's intellectual curiosity! Creativity is encouraged and new ideas are always welcomed. We will always begin class with a chance for learners to introduce themselves and then we will dive into the logistics of the challenge. Learners will be encouraged to share their ideas during the planning stage and ask for or offer advice when needed. During the completion of the challenge, students may choose...

Learners will engage in the science, technology, engineering, art, and math disciplines to achieve a STEAM challenge each week. They will be able to define the problem presented, create a plan, make a prototype, test the prototype, improve it, and share it with the group!
I am currently the science lead in my brick and mortar school. Additionally, I graduated with my M.S.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in STEM from Purdue University.
Suggested supplies will be sent out the week before each class. However, since creativity is encouraged learners may use whatever supplies they feel like they need for the week.
