Each week we will be focusing on two to three different sight words. There are two sessions each week. The first session of the week will focus on introducing the words and reading them in sentences. In the second session, we will continue reading the words in sentences and writing two sentences using the words of the week. Week of 9/3: I, can Week of 9/10: am, be Week of 9/17: we, are Week of 9/24: you, will Week of 10/1: to, the Week of 10/8: they, will Week of 10/15: in, have, a Class will be paused after the first week of June and not meet over the summer. We will resume and cycle back to the beginning after Labor Day.

Students will learn how to identify and read sight words and then use them in an original sentence.

Hello, my name is Seana Mohr!
I am a certified K-6 teacher and am passionate about teaching reading, writing, and math to students in Pre-K through third grade. I believe that learning should be fun and try my best to keep lessons engaging and interesting. I have been working with children for 15 years and have done everything under the sun. Most recently, I have spent time as a kindergarten and third-grade teacher, math and reading tutor, and ESL teacher. I know that every student is unique and with the right tools and strategies they can reach their full potential.
