초보자를 위한 스페인어 어휘

In this ongoing class, students will learn new vocabulary every week.  There is no need to have any prior knowledge of Spanish to take this class.  Depending on the topic, the students will be taught using videos, flashcards, Power Point presentations, stuffed animals, songs, repetition, writing, reading, drawing and coloring.  I will send a worksheet each week to help them follow along.


Week of January 6th to 12th.
Topic:  Colors, Shapes and Numbers
This week students will learn vocabulary about colors, shapes, and numbers from 1-20. Students will need to bring paper, pencil, color pencils, eraser, ruler and something they can draw a circle with, like a bowl or a compass or a glass.  I will teach this class using Power Point, The Zoom Whiteboard, toys, songs, repetition, drawing, coloring, and video clips.  There are 2 songs about numbers in this class.

Week of January 13th - 19th
Topic: All about animals
This week students will learn vocabulary about Animals of the Farm, Forest and Sea.  Children are welcome to bring their stuffed animals or show me their pet.  I will teach this class using Power Point, video clips, worksheets and songs. There is 1 song about animals in this class

Week of January 20th -26th
Topic: Food
During this week, students will learn about food vocabulary.  I will teach the students using Power Point presentations, worksheets and pretending. We will pretend we need to go to the grocery store and also pretend to go to a restaurant.  

Week of January 27th - February 2nd.
Topic: Days of the Week, Months of the Year and The Seasons
This week the students will learn vocabulary about the days of the week, months of the year and the seasons.  I will teach this class using Power Point and a worksheet.

Week of February 3rd - 9th
 Topic: The Planets of the Solar System and Ordinal Numbers
This week students will learn Spanish vocabulary about the planets of the Solar System and ordinal numbers.  I will teach this class using Power Point and Worksheets.

Week of February 10th - 16th
Topic:  The Body
This week students will learn vocabulary of the human body.  Students need to bring paper, pencil and coloring pencils.  I will teach this class using Power Point, Worksheets, drawings and the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes."

Week of February 17th - 23rd.
Topic: Adjectives
This week students will learn about adjectives.  I will teach this class using Power Point, flashcards, games and worksheets.
