In this advanced beginner Spanish immersion preschool class, students will learn all the skills to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond while learning Spanish. Students will have circle time where they review greetings, feelings, weather expressions, and days of the week. Each week we explore a new preschool theme, learn sight words, and develop pre-reading skills in Spanish. Additionally, we will continue to reinforce the color, number, and shape of the week.

I encourage every child to speak during each class session and provide recommended videos and activity sheets to continue learning outside of our class time. When teaching students, I immerse students 100% in Spanish because it is more effective when learning the language. Our class is ideal for native English or native Spanish speakers.

Our class routine includes:

➡️ Greeting Song 
➡️ Circle Time Activities (i.e. Days of the Week, Months of the Year & Weather, etc.)
➡️ Weekly Theme in Spanish 
➡️ Farewell Song

Our class meets 2x per week. For each class, lessons will be in Spanish. Each week, our theme varies but we reintroduce previous concepts weekly so children can join any week! If I see that your child is frustrated when I am speaking in Spanish, I will use gentle encouragement to help them understand. 

🚧🚧This class is an advanced beginner class. It is structured to be a stress-free class to promote and encourage interest in learning Spanish. If you are looking for a structured note-taking class where children are restrained from being themselves, this is not the class for your child. In your effort to support your child, I respectfully ask that you maintain the role of a moderator for your child and not participate in the lesson during classtime. You will receive a recording of the class for review, where you can work one-on-one with your child. 🚧🚧
