Welcome to Spanish Class!  This ongoing class will meet twice a week.  Each class will be a different theme.  Students will be encouraged to talk and participate in class to help build vocabulary and oral skills.  Teacher will provide activity pages to print out and use during and after class.  Students will have the option to complete a craft activity related to weekly theme.  

We will begin with a Welcome Song.  Students are encouraged to share something special on that day (i.e. favorite animal, special celebration, family pet, etc).  We will cover the following foundational skills each week: ABCs letters and sounds, vowels, days of the week, counting 1-30 or more, color and shapes, and a short story or song related to theme.  Class will include songs and pictures to support learning.  

We will end our class with a Goodbye Song.  

Activities provided each week include: 
- worksheet to help with writing name
- activities to work on colors 
- activities to work on shapes  
- activities to work on counting 1 to 1 objects 
- letter of the week
- optional craft activity 

Teacher will also provide homework on SEESAW.  This is optional for students that want to continue practicing at home.

Class will be taught in Spanish.  Teacher will provide English support as needed.
