***This is part 3 of the class series: "Spanish for Middle School Beginners, Learn the Basics", please check the other ones before enrolling in this class.**** In this 6 weeks class, students will learn the basics of the Spanish language with interactive activities and games that will give the students the confidence to continue with any Spanish program. We will practice the pronunciation as a group and then I will ask each student to repeat each word giving each student individual attention...
Students will learn basic vocabulary in the Spanish Language, they will begin to get familiar with the pronunciation and get confidence in speaking a new language. Students will learn the days of the week and practice how to spell them, reviewing the alphabet. Students will learn about every day activities and how to conjugate the verbs. Students will learn how to ask When.
During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified in. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness. Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.

**During the last 5 to 10 minutes of class, students will review the vocabulary using interactive games from a website called "Blooket". Students Do Not need to create a Blooket account. Students need Parental Permission to access Blooket.com/play and use a Game ID that I will provide, or to use the link that I will provide in the chat. Only the students that are present in class that day will be allowed to play. ***All material will be presented via Canva and screen shared by the teacher. The PDFs will also be screen shared by the teacher so they can be completed as an oral and written exercise.
