This intermediate course, taught by the experienced and native speaker, Naomi, is scheduled to run seven days a week, ensuring a consistent and enriching language practice.

Course Overview:

Spanish 201 is designed to deepen your child’s understanding of Spanish through advanced grammar structures, expanded vocabulary, and cultural insights. We aim to boost confidence and fluency in Spanish-speaking settings.

Teaching Approach:

Interactive and Fun: Naomi uses a dynamic teaching style that makes language learning engaging and enjoyable. By integrating games, interactive media, and group activities, each lesson is designed to be both educational and entertaining.

Learner-Led Curriculum: We tailor our lessons to fit the interests and needs of our students. Naomi encourages students to bring their experiences and interests into the classroom, making each session personalized and relevant.

Frequent Interaction: Students will interact extensively with both Naomi and their peers, enhancing their communicative skills through practical application and collaborative learning.

Prerequisites:

Ideal for children who have completed a beginner’s Spanish course or possess equivalent foundational knowledge in Spanish grammar and vocabulary.

Class Structure:

This course is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is appropriate for levels A1 to C2. It is designed to accommodate learners at different stages of their language journey.
Each class session will focus on new thematic content, allowing students to apply their language skills in diverse and practical contexts.

WHY LEARN SPANISH?

Learning Spanish goes beyond mere communication. It enhances cognitive abilities such as memory and analytical skills, broadens cultural understanding, and opens up a myriad of career opportunities. In the United States, the Spanish-speaking population has surpassed 54 million. Forecasts suggest that by 2050, one in three Americans will be Spanish speakers. I believe that I should study Spanish instead of french because, if you search it up, you'll find out that Spanish is marked number 3 in the list of the languages that are easier to learn for English speakers, while french is marked the seventh on that list. Another fact that supports this is that English and Spanish have share many cognates, which are words that are similar and derive from the same language. Both Spanish's and English's origin is Indo-European, and share tons of similar words. For example, correcto is correct, delicioso is delicious and pizza is, well, pizza. So, learning Spanish will not be hard.

And believe it or not, over 500 million people speak Spanish, so if I learn Spanish instead, I'll be able to communicate with many other people that speak it as well. It's also the official language of 20 countries, like Argentina, Mexico, Spain and more, which strengthens the fact that I'll be able to communicate with more people.

In conclusion, Spanish will be easier for me to learn, and I will benefit more from it. So, I believe that if you let me learn Spanish, it would be the best for me!" Isn't he cute?!
