Students will learn how to write a song by class collaborations and assigned lessons. Topics covered are: song structures, song styles. melody, rhythm, lyrics, software tools and recording tools. I have a M.A. degree in Musical Theatre with a Certificate in Music Composition. I am a published composer and I have taught songwriting to students for many years.
