사회성 기술 슈퍼스타: 마음챙김, 차분함, 감정, 대처법 & 우정의 즐거움!

Would you like your child to improve their ability to identify and regulate their emotions? Do you want your child to practice self control? Does your child love artwork, writing and games? This class is the perfect combination of social emotional learning, literacy and fun!

Each week your child will practice mindfulness (deep breathing, grounding, physical exercise). They will practice sharing positive affirmations about themselves to improve their self esteem. Your child will engage in group discussions about emotions, friendship, teamwork, anger, self control and other social skill topics. They will complete social emotional writing assignments and read stories aloud as a group. 

Week of May 6: Identifying Emotions
Week of May 13: Coping Skills
Week of May 20: Being a good friend
Week of May 27: Communication & Self Control 

We will also play fun games that relate to the social skills topic for the week. As a class, we will work on fun artwork projects that also relate to social skills. Students will even engage in skits about conflict resolution, teamwork and being a good friend.

This is a great class to prepare your child for real world situations in school, in the community and in their future. I hope to see your learner in our group soon!
