These social skill lessons will focus on one essential skill for a thirty-minute time block each week. These lessons are designed to be short in order to hold student interest and to increase participation. Since this is a social-emotional "club", students will be encouraged, but not required, to share something important to them at the opening of every class. By the end of this semester, learners will gain increased knowledge of key elements of successful social-emotional skills through explicit instruction and practice.
I have a master's degree with an emphasis in behavior. I teach social skills daily in my brick-and-mortar school. I have adopted children who had deficits in the social-emotional arena and know first-hand how valuable these lessons can be for children.

Learners will be encouraged to practice each week's focus skill throughout the week. Some hard copies of homework will be provided for some lessons, and other weeks students will be asked to practice a certain skill.수업 외 주당 1 - 2 시간
