The "So, You Wanna be a Nurse?" class offers an exciting exploration into the dynamic and fulfilling world of nursing. Throughout this course, you’ll learn about the essential roles and responsibilities of nurses, the various specialties within the field, and the steps required to become a nurse. 

We'll cover what it takes to excel in nursing, from critical skills to personal attributes. The class will be structured into interactive modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of nursing. We’ll start with foundational knowledge and gradually move to more detailed topics, using a mix of lectures and engaging activities to reinforce learning. Activities such as quizzes and reflection questions are embedded throughout the presentation. Course materials include a guided worksheet with activities for the presentation as well as a checklist for learners to use when selecting a nursing school to ensure they get the best education and training possible.  

My teaching style is engaging and student-centered, designed to keep you actively involved in your learning journey. I incorporate various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, ensuring that everyone can follow along and participate. I believe in creating an interactive and supportive learning environment, using lectures filled with real-world examples, fun games to reinforce key concepts, and slides and video clips to enhance understanding.
