This course will teach research based study skills in an asynchronous setting. Topics covered will be techniques that provide learning skills for long term memory which improve grades significantly. These techniques provide the learner with a confidence that can reduce test anxiety. My teaching style combines instruction with motivation to succeed. The course is five separate lessons which I recommend be taken on consecutive days to allow time for reflection on each lesson before proceeding.

The methods I teach in this course are those I used as a student in highschool, college and graduate school. In my experience as a teacher, in both online and traditional classroom settings, students who use these techniques are highly successful.
