This class is led by a retired occupational therapist. The class is designed for learners who can already write simple sentences but struggle specifically with legibility. It consists of 4 sessions focused on improving legibility and is tailored to each learner's specific areas of weakness. Session 1: The first session is a quick handwriting assessment with a written report provided after class. We then learn the three most important rules of neat handwriting and play a quick game focused on learning the handwriting rules. Session 2: The second week we tackle common letter formation errors, reversals, or another area of weakness identified in our first session. Session 3: The third week we practice sentence writing and focus on self-correction and writing speed. Session 4: The final week we work on understanding the difference between writing for speed and writing for legibility while watching a video and completing a worksheet. We end the session with a quick reassessment to identify progress. Each week I use an activity from one of my other ongoing classes allowing learners to trial a variety of classes.

How to Have Neat Handwriting: Overview
In this first class we will do a pre-assessment writing sample, learn the 3 rules to writing neatly, identify errors on prewritten sentences, and practice using the 3 rules while playing a Family Feud-style game focused on single words. Quick Review of Letter Formation- Play a Game
In this session we will look at common letter formation errors and reversals. We will identify legibility errors on pre-written sentences. We will then play a game of 'Would You Rather' while focusing on legibility. I will teach learners how to practice to improve. 30 분 온라인 라이브 레슨

The Rule of Spacing-Exploring Weird Facts
In this session we will focus on spacing within and between words while exploring weird facts. We will also learn how to practice to improve writing speed and continue to work on self-correction. 30 분 온라인 라이브 레슨

Writing Review & Weird Animal
In our last session, we will watch a video on a unique animal and practice taking notes and completing a worksheet. We will also complete a post-assessment. You will receive a follow-up report showing your learner's progress. 30 분 온라인 라이브 레슨

2. Write a short 4-5 word sentence in less than a minute (doesn't have to be legible).
