This class is for beginners and was designed for students that want to learn how to add patterns and texture to their designs. I love fashion and I began offering fashion design classes for my sewing school students in grades 6 and up, 3 years ago. I quickly learned that my younger students wanted fashion classes too! I then created a class for grades 4 and 5 and redesigned it a year later, for students in grades 2 - 4. My fashion design classes on Outschool, A Taste of Fashion Design- Get Inspired and Sketch & Design, have been very popular! As a result, I decided to add a 2-day class for students that want to learn more about illustrating patterns and textures.
The teacher will provide a handout and croquis (body template). Handouts will be needed at the beginning of the class. Students will need to have/purchase: 1. Colored pencils or markers. A skin-tone pencil or marker is optional but very helpful. 2. 2 sharp pencils with erasers
