Cats have been human pets for centuries over the world. To introduce other types of cats which students perhaps have neither seen nor had as pet, this class is designed so students can study a portrait of a cat by sketching and be familiar with the texture and look of the cat by shading. Students will be instructed to construct a portrait of a dog and turn the sketch into a realistic drawing with shading and blending.
