싱가포르 수학: 싱가포르에서 교육받은 수학 교사의 개인 과외 (1학년~5학년)

These sessions are for learners interested or studying Singapore Math. 

A one-on-one tuition session gives me the ability to ensure that a student comprehensively grasps the breadth and depth of mathematics.

Highly suitable for students who are being homeschooled, enjoys extension, needs an extra boost or just prefer a one-to-one setting. 

Each session will be designed to cater to the needs of the learner.

The first couple of lessons will target on finding out the Mathematical ability of the learner. This will help me to find out what I need to focus on during the lessons.

Following the initial assessments, I'll introduce concepts by building upon students' existing knowledge necessary for understanding the new material. This approach facilitates critical connections and relationships between topics, enhancing the meaningfulness of math learning and improving information retention. As the lessons are designed according to individual needs, the structure may vary. Plenty of time will be allocated for sufficient explanation and practice. Once the learner has been assessed to be able to handle work, assignment will be given to practice and consolidate what was taught.

Topics will follow the current Singapore syllabus by Ministry of Education, Singapore 2013 and 2021, focusing on concepts learners require additional help in.
