수업 소개
This is a 6-session all-in-one-course for beginners to learn Sign Language. Classes will be taught through demonstration, imitation, explanation, games, and activities. My teaching style is interactive. Students are encouraged to share and interact throughout class. It is requested that students leave their cameras on during the class. No previous experience or knowledge is needed. Students will have opportunities to practice basic signs and fingerspelling. We will be using the American Sign Language format (ASL). Session 1: ASL Fingerspelling, Greetings, History, Deaf Culture Session 2: Basic Communication and High Frequency Words, Weather, Counting, Colors Session 3: Animals, Common Verbs, Family Relationships Session 4: Foods, More Verbs, Session 5: Signing Music/ songs, Intro to Interpreting Session 6: Sharing Projects (Students will sign a song or children's book of their choice)
