In this weekly online course, get ready to move, groove, and GROW! These weekly workout sessions are for EVERYBODY who wants to get fit, no matter your fitness level. We'll mix things up each week with different themed-workouts to embrace body positivity and build confidence! Each workout session will flow like this: 5 minutes: Warm-up-Light cardio and dynamic stretches to get the blood flowing and muscles ready. 15 minutes: Cardio-Get your heart pumping with fun activities like, interval training and dance routines. 15 minutes: Strength-Build strength and confidence with bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, and planks and/or exercises with dumbbells hand weights. 10 minutes: Flexibility-Improve flexibility and balance with mindful stretches! Each weekly workout will be designed with positivity themes and include an activity to be completed for homework after sessions. Each sessions will include instructor-led workouts, video clips, and discussions. Weekly Body Positivity Themes: 1. Week of February 4, 2024: Celebrate Strength and Power 2. Week of February 11, 2024: Express Yourself Through Movement 3. Week of February 18, 2024: Fueling Your Body for Fun & Fitness 4. Week of February 25, 2024: Building Confidence from Within 5. Week of March 4, 2024: Stronger Together 6. Week of March 11, 2024: Expressing Yourself Beyond the Mirror 7. Week of March 18, 2024: Unmasking Beauty Ideals 8. Week of March 25, 2024: Wellness & Self-Care: Celebrating Your Mind & Body Let's move and work together!
