In this class, students will be able to complete a variety of fun drawing exercises! These drawing exercises are designed to help young artists with the details of their drawings. We will start class by talking about our favorite things to draw and why we enjoy drawing them. We will then talk about how the drawing exercises we will learn in this class can help us with any drawing. There will be multiple shading techniques that students can start to create during class and can continue to...
Students will learn how to add life to any drawing with the use of shading using bold marks and dark lines. There are many different techniques. This class will focus on four basic types of shading styles, hatching, cross-hatching, contouring, and my favorite - SCRIBBLING!
Please have a few pieces of paper and a pencil ready! No special pencil required unless already available. Everything in this lesson can be practiced with a standard #2 pencil.
