  Join me for an exciting journey to learn Japanese in a fun and interactive way. 

In this semi- private  Japanese language course for young kids, we'll embark on engaging adventures that will spark their curiosity and enthusiasm for the Japanese language and culture. We'll lay the foundation for a lifelong love of Japanese through engaging lessons and playful activities.

Our language acquisition method is based on short stories ranging from 25-50 words, which we break down using our decoding system. This approach helps your kids understand the language structure without having to memorize gammar rules. We believe that language learning can be fun and engaging, and that's why we have developed lovable characters like Salt the cat, Pepper the dog, and Sunny the Squirrel to help your kids learn.


MEET YOUR NEW JAPANESE TEACHER:
Meet Momooko, a native of Japan who's deeply connected to the country's culture, lifestyle, and language. With a professional teaching degree from AFTE in Japan, she's enthusiastic about sharing the wonders of the Japanese language. Her interactive teaching style includes printouts, drawings, games, and more. Outside of teaching, she's an avid runner, swimmer, hiker, and lover of books, manga, and movies.

WEEKLY CONTENT:
Each week, students will complete workbook activities including:

- Shadow teacher videos  of the story
- Build your Japanese library: Print Story
- Decoding, Drawing it, and Clapping it out in the student booklet
- Singing along to our favorite YouTube songs
- Playing Word Games & Flashcards
- Reading the Full Story in Japanese

Students will also listen to their Japanese buddies' stories and provide feedback. They will also receive positive feedback and comments from Momoko, the Japanese teacher.

WEEKLY REINFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES:

- Reading and coloring in our Reading Tracker Bookshelf
- Playing the Flashcard Game
- Listening to the Teacher Video and guessing translations with eyes closed

Students will show off their weekly progress by completing:

- Weekly video submissions with spoken answers to questions of the week
- Mini Multiple Choice Quizzes using Google Docs for comprehension
