Most children begin developing self-control and regulation skills by 3.5-4 years old, though this skill requires support and time to develop fully. Engaging children in fun games is a great way to help them gain these skills, which studies show also help a child's academic success. In this class, students will be up and moving, practicing motor and listening skills with Captain Marvel while playing Simon Says with fun movements. Student will increase their listening skills, self-control, vocabulary, sportsmanship, and motor/motor sequencing skills.
Learners will not need any extra materials for this class, only a good space (at least 5'x5') where they can move around safely. Their computer should be set-up so that I can see them from head to toe once we start playing, please.
