In this three-day class, we will get together to learn makeup tips and tutorials, how to (do-it-yourself)  manicure and/or pedicure with either press-on, acrylic, or gel nails with paint, stickers, and nail jewels. We will also be learning how to braid hair, all about different types of extensions and how to properly put them in, we will also talk about hair coloring and safe ways to go about it. There is no  prior experience necessary for any of the activities we will be partaking in. I am a very high energy teacher that loves my students very much. I truly care about every one of my students and always have in my 19 years teaching.

The class will be set up as follows:

Class 1: We will be learning how to properly, safely and most effectively apply acrylic nails with either adhesive tabs or brush-on glue, we will then proceed to paint them ourselves and decorate them with nail jewels or stickers. We will do both our finger-nails and toes. We will spend twenty minutes on the manicure, twenty minutes on the pedicure and the last fifteen minutes will be used for the positive aspiration, self-love activity that we will perform at the end of all three classes. 

Class 2: I will be teaching the girls how to apply primer, foundation, concealer, powder, contour and setting spray. We will spend the first forty minutes of class practicing and learning how to apply the face makeup and discussing the importance of skin care along with an open group discussion regarding what everyone currently does as part of their skin care routing. Then we will end the last fifteen minutes with our positive aspiration activity.

Class 3: We will go over how to apply eye-makeup, starting with eyeliner, then eye-shadow, and mascara for the first twenty minutes of class. We will spend the next twenty minutes of class learning how to apply lip-liner and then lip color. (which can be either lip glaze, lip gloss, lip stain or lip stick depending on what the preference is of the learner.) We will finish up the class with the remaining fifteen minutes performing our final positive aspiration activity.

HOW WE END EACH CLASS:
In the positive aspiration, self-love activity each learner will need to write down a positive aspiration about themselves. Then each student will take turns sharing their self-complement out loud while looking in their handheld mirror while they are saying it. Saying it out loud is optional. No one will be forced to do that if they are uncomfortable.
