This class is for beginners and learners new to coding. Students will learn to do basic coding using the app. Scratch Jr. while trying to make a fall story with a colorful tree with falling leaves. This will be done using a PowerPoint introduction. Then, we will go to the app and break it down by exploring each function. I have been teaching for 26 years. I have two master’s degrees plus 30. I am certified in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, learning disabilities and Primary Montessori. I have attended Pathfinders month long summer institute for three years where we receive specific and direct training on Scratch Jr, Scratch and coding.
