In this exciting beginner-level Scratch coding class, students will dive into the colorful and creative world of programming by learning how to build their very own interactive projects using Scratch – a block-based programming language developed by MIT. This class is designed to be completely kid-friendly with no upsetting or scary content. I hold a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Northumbria University (2024), graduating with First-Class Honours. My academic background includes training in Python, programming logic, and machine learning. I’ve taught coding to children aged 7–14 for over 2 years through my company, Code Kids Robotics Ltd, delivering structured courses in Scratch, Python, and Minecraft-based logic building. I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have completed child safeguarding training in line with UK education standards. My teaching focuses on simplifying complex computing concepts using gamified projects and age-appropriate analogies.
