- Explore how other forces, such as gravity and friction, affect an object and its motion. 
- Apply your knowledge of Newton's Laws of Motion to construct a device or devices. 
- Explain that when energy is transferred from one system to another, the total quantity of energy does not change.

Each week your student will be given the opportunity to do some online and hands-on activities to reinforce concepts from class. 
There will also be some small practice problems to help understand new calculations.
