These private 1-1 lessons are tailored to the student and their level of experience. Most of my students are beginners but I work with intermediate to advanced as well! 

I teach every style including Country, Rock, Pop, and Blues. We’l primary focus on the style of music the student likes to listen to but I will throw in some other songs as well to expand their music knowledge. 

Beginners start out learning basic chords and scales that we can quickly plug into a popular song. ( I want them to start playing songs as soon a possible because that’s what makes it fun!). As we go along and build upon their basic skills we will begin to throw in a little music theory so they can have a better understanding of what they are doing. 

Once they have some basic skills under their belt, students bring me a song of their choosing each week and I will teach them how to play it. (Intermediate and advanced students start here). 

Students will receive printable lesson materials through our messages in Outschool (chords, scales, song charts, etc.). For beginners, we will also be using Acoustic Guitar Book 1 from Guitar Center. (see materials). 

Students will also receive a Lesson Recap recording of everything we went over in lesson so they can review it as they are practicing throughout the week. 

And most importantly- we have a good time in our lessons! If your not having fun while you’re learning guitar then you ain't doing it right!
